First Of All, 31st July 2009 & 1st August 2009

As Always, Every Last Day Of The Month, There Will Be An Inventory Stock Count Recorded Down And Send To Office For Calculating Of The Total Food Cost Of The Whole Outlet. That Day Was A Very Busy Day As Alot People Got Their Pay And Came To Dine In The Restraunt. In PastaMania Kitchen, It Is Diffrent From Hotel Restraunt Which You Would Be Able To Have Specific Time To Rush Your Preparation Of Goods. For Example, The Kitchen Would Be Close From This Period Of Time To Evening For Cooks And Chefs To Do All The Necessary Preparation Of Goods. And In My Kitchen, You Gotta Attend To Order While Rushing All The Goods. This Is Nt An Easy Tasks As You Would Be So Busy, And In Order To Rest, You Need To Complete All The Tasks Fast. For Instance, 5kg Of Chicken Breast To Be Cut Into Slice Onli Took Us 20 Minutes. For Beginners, It Could Go Till 1 Hour At Least. 600 Chilli Padi To Be Cut Into Thin Slice(Totally Differnt From Sellling FishBall Noodle Which Is Very Thick). Took Me 1hour. Peeling for Prawns. 1 Prawn To Be Peel Finish Onli Took Us Around 2-5 Seconds. And Lots More. In This Kitchen, You Would Be Able To Learn All The Real Life Practical Skills Which Is Different From Those Fast Food Restraunt Which All Is Ready Made. So, If You Ask Me To Cook Any Dish Or Pizza At Home, I Am Able To Do. From Flour To Become Pizza Dough, Sauce Freshly Made, Etc. Cool Right ? Haha. I Never Imagined That I Would Work As A Cook. As Mentioned, I've Really Learnt Alot In This Kitchen, Italian Cuisine, Western Cuisine And Some Chinese Cuisine. Hoho, And One Of The Main Reason That I Would Keep On Remain And Work In The Kitchen Till Now Is Because I Wanted To Go Though All These Hardship. As I Know, A Cook's Life Is Very Miserable, It May Seem Cool When You Know How To Cook, Make Pizza And Pasta. But You Would Keep On Cooking The Same Dish Maybe For 30 Times A Day ? Or In The Whole Day You Could Cook 180+ Plates Of Pasta, 60+ Pizza? And After That, You Gotta Wash The Whole Kitchen, Everything And Anything To Make It Clean. Yes, It Is Very Tirring And I Believe If I'm Able To Make It Through, I Would Be Able To Endure Most Kinds Of Work, From Office Work To Some HardWork Stuff. And At The Same Time, I Would Know Money Is Not So Easily Earn As I've Been Spending Like Nobody Busniess Which I May Be Facing Problems In The Future If I Do Not Control Myself. And I'm Very Glad That I'm Once A Cook Which I Doubt I Would Be Again After My NS And I Would Be Into Another Kind Of Work. And 1st Of August(The Last Day), Due To Inventory Stock Count, The Kitchen Minimized All The Goods and Ingredients To The Minimum. Therefore, Every 1st Day Of The Months, Goods Would Be Flowing In Like No Tomorrow. Its Would Us Around 4- 6 Hours To Clear Finished Everything. And I Remember, On the 31st Of july I Reached Home At 3am & Slept At 5am. The Next Day I Work 11am - 11pm (12 Hours). I Was Like A Half Dead Living Zombie And At The Same Time Rushing Goods. lOL... (You Could Collasped From All These). And Most Of All, There Is A New Part-Timer Coming In On That Day, And I Was Assigned To Teach Him And Guide Him Through Everything. Even It Was My Last Day, Ah Pong (The Chef Aka Good Friend) Wants Me To Remember The Moment. This Is Why I Work For So Long. After That Night I Was So Tired That I Nearly Collasped, I'm Too Tired.

Before Closing, We Taped What WE All Did. The Guy Recording Was Sulaiman(Malay Cook). I'm Sorry That This Video Is In Melayu. The Guy Cooking Was Ah Boy. Haha... Look At How We All Toss Our Pasta. Cool Right, Its A Skill. In This Kitchen There Were Mostly Malaysian Working In The Kitchen. This Is Why Cantonese And Melayu Were More Common In The Kitchen.

FareWell Dinner (2th August 2009)

After The Tiring Work On Saturday(1st August 2009), We Decided To Have The Farewell Dinner On 2nd of August(Sunday). These Were The People Who Attended. Kitchen Staff : Ah Pong, Ah Kok, Kah Jun, Ah Boy, Zhang Kun, Sulaiman & ME, Also Jiahui From Service Side Was Also Invited To The Meal. Firstly, The Aim For The Day Was To Drunk Xia0hu, Today Is His Last Day, Where Everyone Gonna Toast To Him Each Mug, 5 people = 5 Mug at 1 Shot. Starting Of The Meal, I'm Already Red. Thanks To Zhang Kun And Ah Kok, I Toasted To Them Which Makes Me Feeling Red Before Eating The Meal. They Were Happily Toasting, Trying To Make Me Drunk. Very Drunk. X_x. Last But Not Least. The Chef(Ah Pong). My Teacher, Mentor And Good Fren. From The Day I Entered Kitchen, He Was Kitchen In Charge After The First Chef. My First Teacher Was SomeOne Who Opposed Him And In The End, Was Terminated For His Repeated Mistakes Done. After That, Ah Pong Taught Me, The Importance Of Being A Chef, Atittude , Saving Cost, Teaching New Staff, Paper Work, Inventory, Everything And Anything. He Guide Me Through To Make Me Into What I Am Today. There Was Once I Left This Kitchen And Went To Fish & Co. But 2 Months Later, He Pulled Me Back And Ask ME To Offer Him My Help As He Is The Chef Soon. Without Hesistation, I Came Back, For 8 Months, I Helped Him, I Never Reject Anything Which He Need Help In. Even Maintaing Kitchen Relationship Among All Staff, I Also Played A Part In. Solving Problems , Finding Solution To Answer To Offce, Wrtting Appraseisal Were Doned When He Need Help. Overall, Ah Pong, Thanks For Making What I Am Today, I'm Very Grateful To All The Things That You Taught Me, I Will Remember And Apply It To The Fullest. (Secret, He Gave Me Something Where No One Else Would Be Able To Have With Just 2 Years Of Working In That Kitchen. )

ChickyClub Fam Outing. (5th August)

After 3 Weeks, ChickyClub Fam Organise Another Outing Again. This Time Its A Steam Boat Buffet At Bugis Followed By A Gaming Session At World Largest Gaming Centre. And These Were The People Who Attend. Attitude, Ling , En, Jane(Ah Yi) , Summer(Candy) , Jess(Mei), Ah Biao, Ash Jie Jie , Jason, And Most Of all -Qub- Lao MA Wahahahah. lOL... We Met 7.30 Pm At Bugis And Went For The Meal. We Were Seprate Into Two Tables, WE Called It "Sick" And "Not Sick" Haha.

Haha, They Took Alot Of Fish Which Cannot Be Finished Nearly. The Story Starts With Ah Biao Trying To Give Ash Jie Jie A Fish Ball From The Pot, And The Ball Bounce And Drop Onto The Floor. And In Order Make Up For The Fish Ball He Took "100" Fish Ball Hahaha. Did I Mentioned That They Scream When The Ball Drop On The Floor Hahaha.

Midnight Gaming (8th August)

Bok Called, Asking ME To Meet HIm, Andy And Jovi As I Did Not Meet Them For Quite Some While Already. So, I Decided To Meet Them. Bok Drove The Car And Fetch ME And We Went ParkLane For Midnight Gaming. Upon SEeing Jovi, He Become Even Fitter Than Last Time. He Told ME More ABout The Life In My Unit. And I'm STill Considering Whether To Sign On Or Not As By Signing On, You Will Be Out To Sea Occasionally And Duration Of 1 - 2 Months Each Time. And You Would Be Very Hard To Start A Family With This Kind Of Life. This Is Why I'm Considering Whether To Sign On Or Not. NeverMind, When Time Ripes, I Will Know. Also I Saw Andy, We All Chatted Alot As WE Did Not See Each Other For Qutie Some While Also. We Gamed For 4 Hours And Bok Drove Me Home First Before Heading Back. Its Was Fun Seeing Them Again. Misses Them Too. Slept For Onli 6 Hours. Will Meet Up With Them Soon Again. Wow,Without Realising, I've Type So Much, This Post Spend Me 3 Hours To Finish It. lOL.
